How can I write for ‘Startup Writer’?

It’s easy, you just have to follow our guidelines and submit a draft to us.
Once your work is reviewed, you’re all set to publish the content within our magazine.

What are the guidelines?

Submit articles that can resonate with our audience.

We’re focusing to bring in educative content for writers to build their careers and engage in a community, so, whenever you write something keep that in mind!

Usual topics that we cover include:

What you shouldn’t write:

We’re looking for engaging content that’s not meant for deep tech-savvy people, so don’t submit such content —

For Example, A page full of new programming code you wrote or things you discovered when working with some random software, etc. — we do not promote such content.

Just write something that entrepreneurs can make use of as a matter of handling a business!

Follow the 48hr rule

We don’t want to make you wait long to discover whether your content could be published in our publication. You just have to wait for 48hrs and our team will get to you with the final result.

  • Once you are selected for publishing with ‘Startup Writer’ — you can make use of our other publishing platform to engage with vibrant communities.

What we prioritize

  • Unpublished draft submissions only: we do not accept already published stories.
  • Stories behind Medium’s paywall: Medium’s Partner Program allows writers to make money off their writing. We know how difficult it is to make a living as a writer and we fully support this program. As part of our efforts to help as many writers as possible, we prioritize publishing stories behind the paywall over free stories.
